We're home
Kaden got released tonight - we're all here at my house - the happy family will go home to sleep tonight - which will be very good for me!

The nurse, Chris, who was wonderful, kept after Kaden to eat and to drink. Here she is forcing him to eat applesauce.
Shortly before we got released.
He just had a nebulizer treatment. Oh joy. The diagnosis is viral pnemonia, with the right lung affected and both lungs inflamed, which the doctor says is a clear indication of viral, not bacterial. So he has to avoid smoke, perfume, airborne allergens, etc. We'll need to keep him in and away from other children for the next week. Hopefully he'll all be over this when Skyler makes his arrival.
I slept OK in the hospital last night, but I'm looking forward to my own bed tonight.
Thanks for all those prayers. He's starting to act like himself again.

So glad he's home. That last picture looks like he's starting to feel better. I'm sure he'll bounce back fairly quickly now that he's home. I'll keep him in my prayers, and Michelle too so she delivers well.
He's gotten so big and of course is awfully cute! I'm glad he's home and feeling better. I wish you all a good night's sleep and Michelle a safe delivery.

I am relieved to know he is home again. I guess you will be keeping him in a/c as much as possible for now. Hope Michelle gets some rest.....she looks like she is ready to go with that new baby for sure.

I came by from your mama's site. I was VERY happy to hear that your little grandson was released from the hospital and is on the road to recovery. YEAH!! I didn't know that you were going to be a grandma again too! How wonderful is that?!

Hi, I just came over from Josaju. I'm so glad Kaden is on the road to recovery.
Glad he is recovering well. Hooray! Now we will wait to hear of Skyler's birth! I am also waiting to hear of a great-niece's giving birth, too---any day now.
Somehow I missed this post. I think my subscriptions skipped a day or something...
So glad Kaden is doing better. Those pictures of him in the hospital are just heartbreaking! Poor kid.
