So Michelle's first due date has come and gone without any real labor or baby. We did go to the hospital on Thursday after she thought her water leaked. It hadn't - sigh. But right after she thought it broke, she called me. She was on her way to the orthodondist to have her braces checked. I was on my way there to take Kaden. So we agreed to meet there. Once we got there, she went in and told them she needed to see the dr immediately since her water broke. They told her she was crazy to even be there, but she told them she had a broken wire that she really needed fixed to be comfortable, so they did take her back. When the dr came in he said, "So I hear I get to delivery my first baby!". Too funny.
We (our church choir) are singing the service today - we do that every year - sing the top 10 or so favorite anthems of the year. This year should be fabulous - we're ending with Beethoven's Hallelulia Chorus - so uplifting!
I'm not even bringing my cell phone into church!

I'll bet it made the dentist's day to make that remark! Sounds like the baby will be arriving any time now, so good luck to all. And sing your heart out!
We've been keeping the cell phone very close...
We keep it in the car during church....
Still waiting , waiting...sigh That's life. Lots of waiting
Waiting with baited breath! too funny about the Ortho. Typical Michelle. but then, Most women do stuff like that when they think they will be delivering imminently! The cell always stays home from church.
Babies don't have the time for when they arrived......patience. I am sure it won't be much longer.
mom plz too much info. no more okay
With both boys I got the urge to wash walls the week before they were born. Since I HATE that chore, it was really weird! I was hoping Michelle would give birth to Skyler the same day my great-niece had her Caeden---but no such luck. Dana had some problems with pre-eclampsia, so they induced her. It didn't work, and they ended up doing a caesearean, rather than waiting longer. Yeah, I never thought about being a great-great aunt! Thanks a LOT!!!!! lol
Hope your singing went well. I love music services---so uplifting!
Funny how we can't wait for them to arrive then when we're newly sleepless wonder why that was.
RYC: We're going to Ludington.
I'm sure everyone is getting very anxious, but the wait is almost over. Good luck to everyone!
I think everyone should leave their cell phones out of church.
Hopefully it will happen soon! I'll be praying for her.
That is a very cute story about the dentist-great one for the baby book--LOL
Hope the baby comes soon, but as you said, they do have a mind of their own. I'd imagine it'll be anytime now though--maybe even now she's in the hospital delivering!
*hugs*
Still waiting? They told Male Jr and Missy the baby will probably come early. I didn't tell them but they told me that too when I was pregnant. I ended up having a whopper 3 weeks late. I'm hoping for Michelle and Missy's sakes they don't let people wait that long anymore.
