We saw the doctor yesterday - no change to anything. Baby isn't engaged yet, so the doctor told Michelle she'd schedule her to be induced next week and would call this morning. So this morning Michelle got the call - the earliest they can schedule her to be induced is July 15!!!! Over 2 weeks past her due date. So the doctor told her to walk a lot.
With that in mind, we took Kaden to the zoo this afternoon.
I think there was a leopard in the far corner.
It was hot and sticky!
He was brushing down the goats and everything else in the petting zoo!
The peacock was cleaning up the food court.
This was taken on Sunday when we took everyone out to dinner.

That last picture is so cute! He's beginning to look like a little man. Does he understand much about the baby coming? At least he's had some practice with them with his little auntie!
Lets just hope that baby doesn't wait that long. She must be so uncomfortable in this hot summer weather.

Hey, my Mom says they are never late, They come when they are ready. I hope it is soon, yeah summer pregnancy are no fun in the heat.

Wonder what would happen if she could stand to drink whatever that stuff is the women use to drink to make them have the baby asap. Can't think of the name. lol I'm sure that isn't done anymore. 2 wks over deadline!!!! I don't think so! Have her climb stairs etc.
I expect she will be going in soon...maybe a July 4th baby! Anyway, hope she can rest in all this heat and hope the baby comes quickly too. The good thing is she knows what to expect this time.
So nice to see that Kaden is recovering so well. He is such a cute little boy. Hope he will be a great big brother when the times comes too.
Awwww Kaden is such a cutie! I love little babies, but I do not want any g-kids now... not yet.
Two weeks is crazy... I hope she has that baby soon. This is a tough month to be pregnant.

Poor Michelle. That can NOT be fun at all! One of my friends said she put herself into labor by drinking cod liver oil. That does not appeal to me, but it might be worth a try!!! I was SO ready to have Claire by the time she arrived, and she was a week early! Will be praying for Skyler to come SOON!!!
I'm surprised she didnt fall to the ground and deliever in the zoo. Nice pictures. Hope things get moving faster for you all.
@Baroness_Fritinanci - I wish. She wishes too. No call yet today. Spoke too soon. Phone just rang! She's bringing lunch from Wendy's. No baby. I'm going ahead with my plans for the weekend so the baby can be sure to ruin them! Not that a new grandbaby would ruin anything! LOL
@priorities - Seems like peacocks rule zoos. They surely are pretty, but bossy!

@nevragn - He kisses Skyler through Michelle's belly. I have a "Paul" doll ready to give him at the hospital. I didn't notice when I bought it, but it's anatomically correct. Oh my!
@dingdongdingbat - It's cooled off today after the storm last night. But still. I had Ken in August and I was totally hot even in air conditioning and he came on time.
@justmeandyou3 - I wonder if this late arrival is a sign of his personallity - maybe he'll be late his whole life?
@TheSunnyC - My mil asked today if doctors still prescribed cod liver oil to help slide the baby out. I wonder, if I mention that to her, what she'd say. Hummm...
@myseniormoments - Kaden rules the roost no matter where he goes. He's a natural leader. I'm afraid he might be a bossy big brother, but we will see!
@mommers - Isn't your oldest engaged? Is there a date yet for the wedding? Both your girls seem like the types that will wait until they are really ready for children.
@sammickad - Just in time to change it again as soon as you get a family picture with Skyler!

I haven't been by in awhile, but have been keeping up at your Mom's. Those are such great pictures of Kaden, and that last one -- oh how sweet!!! Poor Michelle -- she looks so uncomfortable! I pray it'll be soon.
