  • Skyler meets Kaden

    Today Kaden got to meet his little brother.

    Still tired, even with 10 hours of sleep last night.


    I may not have mentioned that Dave is in New Hampshire for the week.  Fortunately, Ken was around and took care of Kaden all day yesterday.  Bless his heart.  He leaves for Illinois tomorrow to meet with his friend Nathan, who is on leave from the army.  Nathan's brother is joining the Navy and they are having a high-school graduation party for him on Saturday.  Dave and I can't go since that's Dave's 35th high school reunion in Michigan.


    If it's not one thing it's 59 others.


    My mil in hoping to come tomorrow afternoon.  My mom would be here too if she could!

  • Oh gosh that video is so wonderful.   He is in love with his baby bro!    Michigan high school?  I've been out for 34 years, gosh where does the time go?   Hug that new one for me!

  • What a great video.  Hope Michelle is doing well.  This will be a longer recovery for her.  I agree with Nancy, it was as if Kaden expected him to say say "hi" back!   Hope you got a good night's sleep last night too.

  • When I showed Skyler's picture to the nurses in the hospital yesterday, they thought it was a little girl since they said that the cap was "pink"  I notice that Claire had the same little cap which is pink and BLUE!  Silly nurses.  I told them the cap was both pink and blue and that Skyler is very much a boy.  We showed them to the patients too.  They ooohed and ahhhed appropriately.  Aww. he's so handsome and very boyish.  I think he looks a lot like Sam. 

    I'll be sure to take all the pics to show to the choir today as well as the one with Claire.  We've all been praying both for Michelle and for little Claire.
