Surprising Choice
Yes! A female conservative in the race. I like the concept, now just have to find out more about her. It really sounds like a smart choice for McCain.
And that's about as much politics as you get from me. I hope by now you know that I don't believe in killing unborn babies and it annoys me when people like Hillary call the pro-death people "for women". Let me just say that this woman gets annoyed at that. OK. End of vent.
Some pictures.
We've been married 31 years - can you say forever? Dave asked me on our anniversary if I remembered not being married. Not really. I was 21 when I tied the knot, so all of my adult memories include him.
Michelle and Skyler - look how long he's getting.
And my personal reason why I don't think abortion is a good idea.
I rest my case.

Abortion is never a good idea, unless it will save the life of the mother.
Many babies can be saved now being born premature.
So many families aching to have a baby.
Politics, I always say too much
I am so happy we have a good VP, now we just have to get our country to wake up and stop drinking the kool-aid.
I love these pics. wonderful and happy peeple!
My hubby and I celebrate our 25th on Sept 11
Beautiful pics. Did Dave remember not being married? It's like me remembering not being a mother. I really can't. It's like the oldest has always been here.
If you can't remember being single what about me!? I was 17 when we married! Love Dave's shirt. I dress Wil in wild things too. That Skyler is going to be taller than Kaden I think. Is Sam tall? Of course you gotta realize tall in our family is usually taller than other families...Wil is 6'5" and the 15 yr. old g-son is already 6'3".
@TheSunnyC - According to the drs calculation, based on Kaden's length at 2 (36") he should reach 6'. Michelle is going to really look short once her boys grow up!
I agree with you!
Kaden has sure grown. They are both so adorable.
The boys are so cute!
Happy Anniversary again, and I hardly remember not being married... or a mom! LOL
That is so awesome about you and Dave, being married and in love for 31 yrs. We are coming up on our 25th this year. I am happy about the person who McCain picked also. Life is sacred.
The choice of Sarah Palin generated a great deal of very positive enthusiasm at our dinner group last night. The more I find out about her, the better I like her!
The attack machine is already after her but their accusation of her lack of experience is quite a joke and won't fly with anyone over a 60 IQ.
Those are great looking grandchildren...Can't wait to see them.
Dad and I remember your "growing up" years....Since you've been married longer than you were unmarried and that will only continue to gain momentum...
I was only single for 20 years and have been part of a couple the rest of my life.
Congratulations on your 31 years of marriage. I know how long it can be in actual years but how short when we try to think about life before marriage.
Good luck with your scheduled surgery. Hope you recover quickly and continue to enjoy all the things you do every day.
The grandsons look great. I can't believe how big both of them are already.
I love the picture of you and Dave -- you both look so happy and content!
Love the pick too! Didn't get to hear much more than her speech all weekend since we were up at the cottage. I'll catch up now that I'm home.
You know I agree with you on the abortion issue.
I agree with your "vent". You are a good looking younr couple. We just had year 32 in June andhardly remember using my maiden name it has been so long ago. Beautiful children!
Many more years to come.... yeeeee.... Congratulations on your anniversary ! Glad to catch you at lunch the other day.... !!!
