I'm home
The surgery went very well. Thanks for the prayers. I'm a little sore, but drugs are my friend! I even got a suite last night - that was wonderful - no roomie, no annoying TV, no loud relatives, and a nice extra room for Kaden to run around in while they visited. I sound like a grouchy old lady, but really, I think all hospital rooms should be singles.
So, since I don't have any pictures of me I want to share, I'll put up a video of Dave, the horse, with his favorite rider, Kaden.

Glad you are home and doing well. Wil and I will pay the extra for a private room if one is available. We do not do well with other's antics.
It's always good to be home after surgery...so glad all is well! No horsey rides for you for a few weeks!
Glad to hear your surgery is over and you are home. Hope you have a rapid recovery.
That is an adorable video. Looks like Kaden is having a lot of fun.
Glad you're home and back in your own bed. And Kaden wants to take turns being 'horsey' too - he's going to be a great big brother. Rest well!
Wishing you a speedy recovery so you can get back to lifting grandsons! I'm glad everything went well.
Grampas make the BEST horsies!! Ken did his share for many years.
So glad your surgery went well. I celebrated by buying clothes! lol
We are just enjoying the peace and quiet of no company. Even though Diana stayed by our sis-in-law behind us, she popped in several times a day. There has been just too much going on in the last three weeks!!
Oh so glad you are ok and things went well..and you have peace and quiet to recover faster..** Take good care..glad the pain is not bad...and adorable video of them:) precious...* Continue to heal..get well soon....hugs and love, Lee
I am glad that everything went well for you , hope you rest well over the next few days. Love the horses video
Yeah! So glad all went well. yes--drugs are your REALLY good friend at this point! lol Keep healing well & quickly. *hugs*
Geesh I am behind. Totally missed your hospital stay but I'm glad to hear that it all went well. What a nice high bladder you have madam!
Dave is a GOOD grampa...Kaden is definitely "all boy".
In regard to the book you are reading??? I thought you didn't like Barbara Kinsolver. Is that a book for your book discussion? How do you like it? She is a gifted writer...even if you don't see eye to eye with her on some things.
RYC: I only purchased one small item and that was for someone else ...since we are not in need of a single thing!...So many cute things but...I controlled myself.
OOOPs forgot the mini.
@josaju - yes, the book is for my book discussion. She is usually way left of liberal for my taste, but this book is all about food sustainability and local crops vs far away and it's a really cool social experiment that she and her family pulled off. I do recommend it.
Get well soon.... glad to hear Barney didn't get it first..
. At least now you have more time to read..... enjoy the break from 'running around'.... !
BTW - I agreed hospital room should be single. Back home, once I shared a room with someone, I think it made me much worse that I had to 'voluntarily' check myself out, since they had no single room. It was terrible.....
