This is what it looks like outside my door today.

It looks like January, not November.

    Yuck.

Kaden may come over this afternoon to make a snowman.

Or play ping-pong.  Except babop won't be here.

Last night I went to a red hat dinner at a local Italian restaurant.

  • Wow, gotta love that lake effect....from this side.

  • Beautiful but a bit early !

Sure Kaden will enjoy this snow .
    Love
    Michel

Ps : I like the red hats .

  • Wasn't the snowcover beautiful this morning!  Of course, I didn't have to go out and plow through it.  It does seem way too early for all the snow to be starting...guess that may mean we are in for a long winter this season.

Glad you got to enjoy your red hat ladies group.  It looks like you had fun.

  • I think you had more snow then we did, but I'm not complaining.

I love the red hats.  It looks like a fun group.

  • What a lovely scene you woke up too but I am jealous as we never get snow like that here. I am sure Kaden will have many times this winter when he can make a snowman

  • YIKES!!! Keep that up your way for the time being. We didn't get above 38 at the highest today.

  • That is the one advantage of living where we do.  Winds are usually from the west, and we don't get much lake effect snow!   When we were watching the Weather Channel today, we were talking about you, and wondering how much snow you received.  Now I know!!

It was cold here, though.  Only 17 when I got up this morning, and at 9:45 tonight it is only 13.  But the sun was out here today for the first time in a long time, and that made me very happy.  It has been so gloomy for so long.

    Bet Kaden loved the snow!!

  • Wow, that's crazy. Dan just saw the pictures and his comment is "Freaking global warming!" ha ha, that's the truth!!!

  • Oh* a winter wonderland** love it..it's cold here too..but no snow:(...enjoy it...thank you so much for the wishes and 'soup' :) and ping pong..always loved it...I hope the little one came and had fun in the snow*...nothing like seeing them enjoy it...and I hope you and yours have a wonderful Thanksgiving too...I hope I am up to going to be with my family..take good care...hugs and love, Lee

  • Ps you look just adorable in your 'red hat' attire:)

  • Wow, that was a lot of snow! I'm not ready for winter. Whine, whine, where's the cheese! Your red hat dinner group is cute.

  • I remember lots of November snows when we lived "up North"  One of the most fierce was in 1952 when things were closed down.  I remember other heavy November snows also.  Just so we can have some decent travel weather in a month.

  • It really is beautiful, but I'm not ready for it either!

  • Wow - you guys got slammed!  And when you get all that snow and shovel and shovel, then it melts just when the Tylenol wears off.  HUGS to all.

  • that is weird that you get more snow than at my house and we only live ten minutes away. I hate snow, but there were some kids sledding down the hill behind the apt, so maybe i can take Kaden there. I don't know tho cuz it's really close to the pond, and I don't want him thinking that its okay to go that close to a pond. hmmmm okay never mind not going to do it.

  • The brand of muffins was Betty Crocker, I bought the small blueberry muffin packages that makes 6. No, we haven't been hit with any snow yet, just some flurries. But it's been pretty cold and windy so we haven't taken Lilly out to much. Enjoy all your snow!

  • OMG! It was SOOOOO beautiful! All I enjoyed was a few snowflakes. I hope, I hope, I hope we get a good snowfall this year! Know you had fun at the red hat function--anytime I see them together they are always laughing and enjoying themselves. *hugs*
