  • This will be primary a photo blog.  We had a wonderful day.  Lots of fun and love all around.  It was wonderful to have my parents there, as well as all my kids and grandsons.  Everyone spent the night at our house, so we woke up in the morning ready to go.

Kaden had more fun than a barrel of monkeys.

I raised my kids up right - both are Bears fans.

One for Wilma too.  She wouldn't come downstairs, so I had to bring hers up to the bedroom.

Michelle's gift to Ken - she tape all the dollar bills together, rolled them up and placed them in a kleenex box.  Ken was equally clever in his gift to her - he gave he a gift card, but wrapped up butter wrappers in the shape of gift cards and so she had three equally sized tissue wrapped cards to open - only one was the real deal.

  • I just put all of the pictures on my computer.  Wonderful memories!

  • Christmas is so much more fun with little ones around. Rest today!

  • wow that pretty much sums it all up!

  • I enjoyed the photo tour of your Christmas Day , my fave photo was the one of the Christmas dinner with the snow in the background

  • Thanks for sharing the pictures.  I loved Michelle's gift to Ken.  I think I may try that one out for someone next Christmas.  Imagine pulling out all those $1 bills....it's almost like winning the lottery!  LOL

  • Great pictures! Makes me *almost* feel like I was there!!! How fun - looks like everyone had a great time Thanks for sharing!!! I'll try to put up our pictures soon!

  • Thanks for the great pics.  The BaBop and Skyler shoulder ride brought back one memory from ____ (enter proper number of years) at Josaju's house when Ken was about that age.  Four generations all together in holiday chaos - what treasure!

  • You certainly are the "hostess with the mostest"!  You SHOULD be worn out by now.  Your pictures make us all a part of the gathering.  Wonderful!  I know everyone had a great time----Kaden, especially!

Dishes???  You mean Dave and your dad don't do them for you??  My Ken does them for me!!   lol  Got a kick out of Ken's gift.  My family always did weird gift-giving like that---not weird gifts, just the presentations were weird.  I miss that.

Can you relax yet??  Or maybe not until after the wedding!  Enjoy!!  The love and smiles are worth the work!!

  • We had a great day, too, -- 3 youngsters, ages 7, 6 and 2 1/2 -- they made it fun. They just get SOOOO excited, although the 2 1/2 year old got kinda tired of opening presents. Go figure! I like the idea of pulling those bills out of a Kleenex box!!
