December birthstone
Did you know that those of us who are born in December have three different birthstones to choose from? Blue topaz, turquoise, and tanzanite.
I had picked out the blue topaz as my personal choice a few years back. My parents got me a lovely pair of blue topaz earrings when I turned 50. Dave got me a blue topaz pendant for our anniversary and this year he got me the last piece, a birthstone ring. I had to have it resized, but I picked it up today.
It's tear-shaped. It fits snugly inbetween my fingers so I can't even feel it when I wear it. Which I plan to do all the time.
Up until now I've only worn my wedding set. Now I'll wear my birthstone too.
I'm not really into fine jewelry, but this I like.

Blue topaz would be my fave of the 3 too. It's beautiful!

I think I'm partial to the blue topaz too. I'm a Dec kid like you. The Tanzanite is nice, but a bit on the pricy side. That's a really lovely ring.
My favorite is turquoise.....I have a small birthstone ring with my husband and my son's birthstones along with mine that I have been wearing for many years. I also have a blue sapphire that my husband got me years ago.
But I have to say that blue topaz is beautiful too.
