Garden show
I attended the Chicago Garden Show at Navy Pier with my cousin on Monday. We had a fabulous time. All those gorgeous blooms and smells.
Deep breathes along with me and smell those scents:
Isn't this fun?
How'd you like to sleep under this quilt?
There were coleus in every shade and size.
New varieties of snapdragons and geraniums are on our wish list.
I love the riot of color.
We walked a lot. We should have worn a pedometer just to see how many steps we actually took. I was quite sore on Tuesday.
This was a really cool Mexican themed garden. I entered the drawing for the trip to Mexico. Hey, you can't win if you don't enter!!!!
Look closely and you'll see the bronze statue of the children reading.

Love the pics--the coleus was esp pretty and the statue was so whimsical & happy!
Cute video in previous post. Tell Michelle she looks wonderful.
Wish I had time to do stuff like go to those things.
So you have a Wii? What are you doing on it exercise wise? I think I would like the yoga a lot.
I've stopped exercising because I am so frikkin pooped from work and my hours get me home so late--UGH!. So--you go girl on your fitness routine.
*hugs*
@gllady - I love my wii. I mostly do the step aerobics, but really do all - the balance games, the yoga, the fitness, the other aerobic stuff. They really do make it fun.
I would love to have a statue like that for my gardens such as they are. Wil says no more cutesy stuff. From now on metal or concrete if we purchase something for yard decorations.
I have to get the wii fit. I'm not using the wii like I should be doing.
That looks so refreshing. All the color and wonderful fragrances which I can almost smell through the computer.
Your grandmother used to go to the Home and Flower shows in Cleveland every year for many years. It was a big event. Dad and I went a couple times.
After my surgery, we are definitely getting a Wii.
Loved the Red Hat Lady display and all of the various flowers. It did make me feel like Spring IS coming.
RYC today--ya got that right!!!
And, yes, I know he will be happy with these gloves. Sometimes it's the littlest things that bring the best smile & most satisfaction. Still--I do need to figure out SOMEthing else to get him. lol *hugs*
