Zoo trip
Kaden spent the night on Thursday so Friday I decided to take him to the local zoo. Ken came with. Michelle was working so Skyler was at the baby sitters.
The first animal we came to was the tiger.
Both boys thought feeding the fish (and the geese) was a blast.
Nice goat.
This one was funny. Ken knelt down to tie his shoe, so Kaden had to do it too. Even though he was wearing sandels.

We had to double back to see the lions. I love the lions.
I got a pass, so we'll be back lots of times this summer.

nice! he told me that he got to ride on the train. and that he had fun with uncle kenny. I like the one of him and ken bending down to tie their shoes. he's a copycat.
my 'zoo' pics are all of animals - where did I go wrong? I'm a 'cat girl' myself!!! Cats, wolves, predators - oh my, what does that say about me?!? Really, when there are little people around, we'll be going to the zoo ALL the time. Is your pass an AZA?!? (reduced stuff at reciprocating zoos?) I love getting the passes. (don't mind if I don't use it because it goes back to the beautiful creatures) Had one in San Antonio - I went probably 3 times a week. (current pass is through Cincy - the 'cat' zoo) What zoo do you frequent? What are they 'known' for?
Too cute! We will have to make sure to take the kids to the zoo several times when we are back next year!!!
I remember all of our zoo visits when Ken was Kaden's age. Great pictures. Wonderful subjects!
I'm having trouble with our "good" computer...Not allowing me on Xanga and this one is much slower for some reason and....I'm in a room that is kind of "forbidden" right now since my walker can't get through. I leave it at the door and hold on as I make my way over here. I think the problem with the newer computer is that new virus program.
Looks like so much fun...I love going to the zoo..We have guests coming next month. Maybe we'll plan a trip to the zoo with them

Kids are so much fun at a zoo. Hmmmmaybe that's why I liek them so much-lol Been wanting to go to ours for a long time and now it's getting too hot.

@travelerblue - We go to the Potowatami Zoo in South Bend. I think they're too small to specialize. It is part of the reciprocal zoo system, so if we go on vacation we can visit there. I love zoos and hope to sign the little guys up for zoo classes when they're a little older. I did that with Ken and he loved it!
