As promised, pictures of the birthday party at Texas Roadhouse. Unfortunately, they don't require the birthday person to do a chicken dance or anything remotely humiliating like that. But they did announce that Michelle was turning 12 (someone at the table told them that in jest, but that's what they announced - maybe 12 is a normal age for pregnancy in Texas?) and everybody in the restaurant yelled out on cue, "yeehaw"

The girls. Unfortunately, this was the best of the 4 group shots that we took. If enough of you send me money, I'll post the really really bad one! Not one of us looks good in that one. We all howled when we saw it.

Fun, Fun, Fun! Happy Birthday Michelle! Aren't all the women in your family absolutely beautiful! (The men are handsome also but you women are all so striking) What a wonderfully blessed evening you all had. Take Care and enjoy your Mom's visit.

RYC: Excuse my bias against ''teachers" but this idiot man assigned a country to each kid...no choice for the kids---he assigned. She got N Korea. Then he said they all had to make flags not just any size that would have been sensible or that they could have made on their own with paper and glue or whatever but 3'x5' out of fabric. WHAT!!?? This is a 16 yr. old girl who has no money to buy food much less fabric and she and her mother are sewing challenged to put it mildly. What are the kids who have no grandmother to sew for them to do? What a crock. So I spent somewhere in the area of 6.00....not a fortune unless you have absolutely no money like that family....and make a frickin' flag. (Lona May's grammer is rubbing off on me.)
