    Thanks for all your congratulations!  They are much appreciated.  And I made it into the top 50 xanga list for today!  That's never happened before!


    I got a few hours sleep last night.  Barney woke me up at 4:30 wanting to go out.  I let him go since I really wanted sleep and he was being truly obnoxious.


    I went back to sleep, only to have to phone ring next to my ear.  It was 8:30, but that was way too early for the amount of sleep that I'd had.  It was my mother-in-law, who hasn't joined the tech world and never will, wanting to know the news.  So I told her and that woke me up.  Michelle called about 9 with a list of things to bring to the hospital.  So I spent the day there, leaving in the middle of Idol, after Katherine screetched 2 songs - I couldn't take that any more, so I came home to send more e-mails and update more photos on xanga.

  • Val, I think you are wearing one of the biggest smiles I have ever seen! What a little charmer Kaden is. Grandpa looks very happy too. I'm sure Sam is in love with his new son too. Michelle looks absolutely radiant.

    I've been thinking about all of you all day. That includes Fran and John as well.

  • What a beautiful baby.   Having just gone through the birth of my own grandchild, I know the absolute joy you are all feeling.  Congratulations!

  • Great pics.  So lucky to have all that beautiful hair, it makes them so much prettier.  And poor daddy crashed on the couch in the backround.  He thinks he's tired now!  LOL.

  • Everyone is positively glowing here with happiness.  You don't look grandmotherly but Dave....?  Well, it's the beard.  Is that why he is growing a beard ?  We'll try to call the little mother today...maybe later this afternoon..

  • Is that the nursury room in the hospital?  WOW.  Nothing like where you started.  I was in a ward with about 9 others!!!  And...only close family could visit! And....not when the babies were in the room...Germs.

  • Imagine you will have them home today or tomorrow.  Don't usually keep them very long anymore.  Then the fun starts!  Hope the cat lets you sleep then but of course someone will be up at all hours to let him in and out. lol

  • Great photographs! Mom, Dad, baby, and Grandparents all look absolutely beautiful! I am so very happy and excited for you all. Hopefully you can get a little sleep tonight before they come home and life gets really busy! LOL I have always said your the busiest lady on xanga anyway! ((((hugs)))

  • A suggestion....if you have a teddy bear or some type of stuffed toy, take pictures of Kaden next to it every month...You will be amazed at how quickly he grows.  I did that with my son off and on for about a year. It makes it easy to see the change when you have an object to  judge the baby with.
