One thing I forgot to mention with the potatoe recipe. I usually turn the potatoes at least once so they brown evenly.
We slept in late. Felt good. So now we're going to attend a different local church. It's actually the closest church to us and we've never gone to a Sunday service there.

I'm going to try those on the grill, wish me luck. I really need to cook more, even though it will be outside. I'm sure I'll get more into the swing of things around here as the weeks progress. Take-out and meals out all the time would be a deadly mistake. Enjoy your day. I think checking out other churches is a great idea.
Any special reason you're trying a different church, Val? You don't mention your current church much, so I'm curious (or am I just nosy?).
I think it's a good idea...Go to both churches and just meet more friends...Very ecumenical.!

Hope the church works out. We are not sure how well we are going to deal with the 2 morning services at our little church. It would be different if they had the personel to do all that needs doing at both services....like 2 piano players...the one stays over for the 2nd service opening hymns but is gone before the invitation hymn so they just play a tape to listen to. Guess we are too old for these changes...don't want to go to the early service because know that it is mostly songs not in the song books and therefore no notes to follow to learn the songs. Like I said guess we are getting old in our thinking.
