  • Please pray for my father-in-law.  He is in the hospital suffering from Pnemonia.  He has Parkinson's so an illness like this is very serious.  Dave's mom just called.  She's home and very tired.  It says a lot that she can leave him - it says that she is totally exhausted.  Al  will be 86 in a few weeks.

  • Prayers going up for Al.  And for Mom...its so exhausting when you have a loved one in the hospital.

I don't know what is wrong with the stupid protected thing, Val.  I'm going to dump everyone and then re-add them...maybe it will work then.

  • I will be praying!

  • You got it!!  Any illness at that age is scary. Do they live nearby?  Am sure Dave is very worried.   Prayers coming your way.

  • Do they live close enough that you can get to them easily?  I know that you are worried.  He is in our thoughts.

  • Thinking of you and sending a hug- Lisa

  • I'll say some prayers for your father-in-law.  Those pictures of Kaden with his stuffed animal from great-grandma josaju are so cute.  My great-niece just turned 6-weeks old.  It's amazing how quickly they change!

  • Oh, Val...Indeed we will be praying for both of them.  I'll give you a call after we visit with Jou this morning.

  • Off topic here but I really like that photo slide show you've got going on at the side...first one I've seen here.

  • Good wishes for your father-in-law.  I hope he gets through this ok.

  • Very sorry to hear about your FIL.  I'll say a prayer for his speedy recovery.

  • My mother-in-law contracted pneumonia at age 87, just a few weeks ago. A neighbour noticed her trying to ignore the symptoms, doing her housework as usual but obviously looking awful. A trip to the hospital confirmed the diagnosis, and also early signs of congestive heart failure.

She is much better now, though older-looking and more easily tired. But it's still impossible to keep this woman from spending all day in her garden. Her huge bank of veggies is already looking impressive!
