My father-in-law passed away on Tuesday, just one day before his 83rd birthday. We are rejoicing that he is now free from pain. It's nice to picture him dancing before Jesus! The funeral is Friday morning. I'm on a library computer so I won't be reading your sites anytime soon. I miss you all!!!!!!
Michelle came up this morning with Dave so I got to see my grandson again, first time in a week! He's almost 10 pounds now and changed from the last time I saw him. He still remembered his favorite grandma and I'm still the one who can confort him when no one else can settle him down! I'm not proud or anything!
Hugs to all of you.

I am sorry about the loss of your father in law and I know you will be a comfort to your husband during this time. I am glad you got to hold and see your precious grandson during this time.
Best wishes.
Sending you and your family thoughts of sympathy for your loss. It's wonderful to know that your loved one was a Christian, and lived a long life.
So sorry about the loss but do agree that he is dancing in heaven and free from pain. Isn't it great when you know without a doubt that the loved one that has died is in heaven? The older I get the more I am concerned about those that die with no sign of being sure of heaven.
I was that way with my grandkids except for two. Jeremiah wanted his Papa most and James Ian just was totally a mama's boy for so long.
I am so sorry for your loss. I am glad you got to see your grandson.
sorry about your father in law...but if he's with the LORD..he's better off then we are!!!!
Glad you got to see the baby...you must have Kaden withdraw

83. He had a good long life. I am sure he will be missed. I am so sorry.
I am so happy you got your babyfix. That helps to put life in perspective.
My heart breaks for you and your family. I am sorry for your loss.
I'm glad that the new little one is around to help everyone through the sad time.
So sorry, Val. Tell Dave our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Val, I'm sad to hear that your father-in-law passed away. I'm sure your hearts are filled with wonderful memories of him. Please accept my sincerest condolences. My thoughts are with you, Dave and all the family. *Hugs*
Coincidence time. Our sister-in-law's father died Tuesday, too. Funeral tomorrow, Friday. Judy took it the same way you are. She had been staying at the hospital every night since he was admitted last Thurs., ---didn't want him to be alone if he died at night. I asked her how she was doing, and she said that when he was admitted, she said that she had made up her mind it was going to be a happy time. He would be out of pain, and home with his Savior and his relatives that passed before him. Great attitude to have. But, it is still loss for those who remain behind. Sympathies and prayers for you all.
Our oldest grand had colic when he was an infant. I invented the Mimi shuffle at that time, and it has worked for all the grands. I became an expert at getting them quiet and put them to sleep. Never failed-----while they were still babies, anyway!!
My condolences to you & yours, but you are right--he is free of his pain & suffering. *hugs*
I got your presant, thank you....I hope things are getting better over there
Deepest sympathy to you and your family over the loss of your loved one. Hugs.
Just check in to see how you are doing - deepest sympathy to you and the rest of the family... !! Your mom-in-law is blessed indeed to have you, she'd be very glad you'd visit her often in the summer.....
