Slow news week. I subbed for the first time this afternoon. What fun. I really do like being in front of a class and TEACHING! I don't much care for babysitting, which is why I've chosen to specialize in math. I can teach that! I can probably teach other things too, but other divisions don't assume the sub can teach so they leave busywork. Yawn. No thanks. Not for me. This teacher today was lucky. She apparently didn't know she'd gotten a math teacher as a sub, but her lesson plans would not have helped a non-math person. Oh well.
Not a whole lot else newsworthy. Seems slow everywhere on xangaland. That's probably good, right?
So, in lieu of anything else, some very good pictures of the most adorable great-grandboy ever! At least, in my mom's opinion.
He's developing some good computer skills.
Michelle said that he hit the keyboard with his fist today and caused some problems. Oops!
Then some shots of great-grandma, which were in the other digital camera.
Then some "baby in the hood" pictures.
There. Are you bored now?
Hope you have a fantastic weekend!

Not bored at all. With no more response than I've been getting to my posts I'm sure everyone is bored with me. Ho Hum!!! Just nothing interesting in this country life right now.
How can anyone be bored with baby pictures??!
Uh-oh! He is going to grow up as a geeky nerd if you keep that up!! lol I love the first baby in the hood pic. He looks like he could take on the world!!
Bet your mom misses him so much already! Hey, I hear you finally have a sister! A very pretty one, at that. You two could be Snow White and Rose Red---opposite coloring. I got teary-eyed reading Deb's blog about her visit with your folks.
How can anyone be bored looking into that beautiful face!? Isn't it amazing how fast they grow and change?
xoxoxo
Awww....what a cutie pie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't imagine anyone would get tired of the pictures!
Oh I love the pictures. How could you get bored of such a little cutey pie.
Bored? No way!
Sorry I haven't been around to comment lately. I am posting this comment and it is nearly 4 a.m. I just got home from work. I'm working 7 days this week.
Thanks for the awesome comments you left about our special day with your lovely parents. They are just the coolest people. I adore them, all three of them (JouJou too). I am blessed to have gotten to share those special moments with them. It just went waaaaaaaaay too fast!
Ok, so if Kaden starts blogging here at xanga, what name will he use, TinyTyper? He is just too cute for his own good. I'll bet you get stopped all the time in public by people who want to ohhhhh and ahhhhh over him.
He is such a cutie pie!!! Subbing is a good thing when there is stuff to do! Right now we have a big sub shortage. Part of that is because I'm in the office and One of the other subs is doing a long term for a 5th grade teacher that is on family leave until November. But a lot of them have gotten jobs or retired from teaching all together!
He is indeed a cutie pie
I do so look forward to those times, the shot of him asleep on great-grandma's shoulder especially brings back fond baby memories and made me smile. I'm struggling so much right now, wanting to be supportive and beginning to get excited about a baby, but scared to death and angry that Jess is so unrealistic in her own preparations. ARGH.
He is so cute, Val!
Thanks for your offer! I would guess that by the end of October would be good.. that would leave me time to resize, print out and arrange them without feeling too rushed.... I intend to relax for the holidays this year...lol...think it can happen?
*L* Loved the Baby in the Hood pics! He's ready for his own album cover now!
Awwww. He has grown since I saw him. Yes, we did get stopped because of him. It was fun! I loved how responsive he is. He's brilliant and good looking too!
A computer whiz already. WOW!
I've felt like hitting the computer with my fist too!
RYC: You are so funny! It is a shower not a bath. Yuck to a bath with the animals. No bubbles
Great pics--he is soooooo cute! You've a right to be proud! *hugs*
By now, he probably knows more about the computer than I do!!!
he is sooo cute.
ryc- I can hope its not the coffee... so i can drink coffee, or hope it is, so I don't have the hot flashes... hmmmmm
Seems like you enjoy babysitting as much as teaching math....
. well, I guess with Kaden, who wouldn't love to babysit him..... ! RYC - wooo, looking back in the past 3 years, we did go through a lot, didn't we..... glad the Lord gives us graces like friends and family to go through them...... thanks sis !
