I trust you all had an enjoyable Memorial Day weekend. I spent much of it in the yard, weeding, planting and enjoying. We had Dave's group over for dinner last night and the rain held off long enough so we could picnic outside.
This is the last week of school here in north-central Indiana. I'm subbing the last two days of school, Thursday and Friday, then no more until August at the earliest. That will give me all summer to enjoy the old and new grandsons.
Pictures:
The bride and groom-to-be at the family wedding shower I attended on Sunday. They had a hymn sing before they opened gifts, which was way-cool. I thought I knew many of the protestant hymns but I had no idea that Mennonites sang such different ones than the rest of us! I got to practice my sight-singing and sight-harmonizing so I had fun.
Dave's current group. Includes people from Tailand, Poland, Slovakia, Canada and Ohio. You can guess who goes with each country.
Some pictures from the party off of Peter's camera.
Now you can see how pg Michelle really is! She saw the dr today and confirmed that she still has 4 - 5 weeks to go.
The amish kids love to watch the videos I take.
Later.

You guys all capture the greatest shots of Kaden!
We had beautiful weather didn't we? I think there was only one cloud raining down yesterday evening and it found me sitting in my chair reading my book.
I especially like the first and last pictures!! So cute. You guys are so busy and active you make me tired just reading about all you do. As far as Dave's group goes, I think I can only figure out the one from Thailand!! lol And, I suppose I could be wrong about that one, too.
What a cutie! So, who is the Menonnite? Didn't know about this one.
@coolmom56 - My cousin Ron R married a Mennonite, Fran, who he met at Taylor. They've gone to Mennonite churches their whole 30 years of marraige. It's new-order, not old, so they don't look different - no white hats or long dark dresses!
Very cool pics. I love the first one, too. Way cute.
Enjoyed the post. Kaden is his usual cute self!
Thanks for the flower info. This is a very old plant that has been here probably since the 30s.
I adore the 1st pic of Kaden! He looks like a little bruiser! LOL
Looks like the family has been busy! When is grandson #2 due? Must be soon...
ryc-Normally I would say so, but he is pretty much a loner, so the party is going to be pretty small, just family... I wanted to find something in the 50-100 dollar range that would be a lasting memento, maybe something related to his future art career... it is only his associate's, but I wanted to recognise it somehow...
wow! you guys have sure been busy! Happy Birthday to Kaden! He is getting so big and beautiful( I guess I should say handsome!) Michelle looks good! hope all is well with her and Sam now.......enoy your grandsons this summer!
Its really nice that Daves group has so many representatives of the world in it!
Take care and God bless you all ((HUGS))
RYC: Yeah.daughter wasn't coming home for summer anyway, so I would rather she be at her brother's!
These pictures are the greatest.

That first picture of Kaden is priceless! OMG, I would have that as wallpaper on my computer and smile every time I saw him!!!!!
Hope the next few weeks go well for Michelle and the new baby brings renewed joy to all of you.
