No baby yet. I thought we had something going last night but the doctor even did a litmus test and it was negative. So the wait goes on.
I took pictures of the yard tonight. You want to see them right?
bleeding hearts and daffodils in the back
My neighbors tree
Some of my buys from the day at the nursery
Hanging baskets
purchases and existing stuff
Look at what grows in my garden!
I subbed today and again tomorrow. Might as well, right? I am feeling much better. Thanks for all your encouraging words.

I think my daffodils are all done blooming. Some tulips opening up, some already done. I have the same color bleeding heart as you.
Question for you... I always thought of mums as fall plants. Is it ok to plant the one I got from my boss outside now? Anywhere special I should look to put it? Most of my front and back yards are sunny. But I do have one shady spot in the back yard.
Thanks! Hopefully this weekend sometime I'll be able to find some time to dig in the dirt. Fundraiser going on at work right now too, buy an $11 certificate from the clerical and service staff and get $11 worth of plants from Zandstra's in Highland. I usually get perennials, but I think I'll just get two certificates and get annuals this year.
Oh, and a mum that I had planted last mid-summer or so in a planter on my front porch that died on me when it got so hot? Is sprouting leaves! And I did nothing to it once it died, no water, didn't bring it indoors, nothing. I'm pretty amazed.
Every time I try to grow Daffodil they only come up so far and stop. I have tried many times. I was thinking of putting in a bleeding heart plant in my garden, they are so beautiful. That was funny the picture of Barney in the garden. My neighbors cat likes to sit in my garden, and when i weeding he will reach out and bat me. Sometimes I did not know he was there and I jumped, it was funny.
We got home from our vacation today and I am doing laundry, trying to get things put away and catching up on journals. The baby watch is doing well, it seems.
My, you bought a lot! Your garden is going to look fabulous! It looks so nice already. Most of my daffodils are out, and the tulips are just starting to open. Everything seems to be a couple weeks early this year.
Well, subbing might help keep your mind off of baby for a little bit, anyway.
I love bleeding hearts...They don't grow down here. Mom always had them in her yard in Cleveland. They are so beautiful.
Lovely yard. No baby yet. See he was waiting for Grandma to get all better before he meets you face to face.
Have a blessed weekend.
Oh, Val, your garden is beautiful. I only have some hyacinths that are fading. Lots of green stuff coming up, with flowers on the way. Also lettuce and onions! Mmmmm! I'm anxiously awaiting the baby news!
You yard is going to be lovely this year. What a joy!
I am glad you can keep busy... soon you, well, Michelle will be up to her ears in baby
You guys really are behind us. Our daffodils and tulips are gone the lilacs have bloomed and the Mock Orange is blooming now. Everything here was really early. The Peony bushes are ready to bloom. I got more stuff today for baskets/planters. Nurseries that I had ordered hosta from sent a new one today and the grasses that didn't make it are coming too all free thank heaven. We have good rain. Suppose to continue so hope it does. Was going to an auction tomorrow but we'll have to wait and see about the weather. Nothing I need enough to stand out in rain to get.
